Halal certified products intended for export to Indonesia must comply with specific Indonesian Halal Standards and other relevant criteria. By adhering to these requirements, HAC facilitates local products in gaining access to the Indonesian market, ensuring they meet the country’s stringent Halal certification regulations.

The following key standards and guidelines apply:

  1. SNI 99001:2016 – Indonesian National Standard for the Halal Management System, outlining the comprehensive framework for managing and maintaining Halal integrity across the supply chain.
  2. SNI 99002:2016 – Indonesian National Standard for the Halal Slaughter of Poultry, specifying requirements for humane and Shariah-compliant poultry processing.
  3. SNI 99003:2018 – Indonesian National Standard for the Halal Slaughter of Ruminants, covering the ethical and Halal-compliant slaughter of livestock, including cattle, sheep, and goats.
  4. SNI 99005:2021 – Indonesian National Standard for Requirements and Guidelines for the Quality, Safety, and Performance of Certain Products or Services, ensuring product safety and performance in compliance with Halal regulations.
  5. SJPH CriteriaCriteria for the Halal Product Guarantee System, which evaluates five critical aspects:
    • Commitment and Responsibility
    • Materials (Halal source verification)
    • Halal Product Processes (compliance throughout production)
    • Product (ensuring the end product meets Halal standards)
    • Monitoring and Evaluation (continuous oversight and compliance checks)
  6. SJPHHalal Product Guarantee System, an integrated framework regulating materials, production processes, products, resources, and operational procedures to ensure the ongoing integrity of Halal-certified products.
Through compliance with these regulations, HAC supports local businesses in meeting Indonesian Halal certification standards, facilitating market access and consumer trust.
